Dark chocolate (or the flavinoids in it) is in fact protective against heart disease

A chocolate bar on its own isn’t bad for you, you have to look at someone’s whole diet. If you get enough exercise, and get enough fibre and protein and so on, the occasional chocolate bar is a perfectly good source of energy. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it 😉

Chocolate in itself isn’t bad for you – eating too much is bad for, and that is true for just about anything. Dark chocolates have some good chemicals in them like anti-oxidants which some people think are good for you. The worst thing in chocolate is to do with sugar I guess, so if they made a chocolate with a sweetner instead then maybe – but then a lot of people think sweetners are bad for you.

Moderation (ie not eating too much) is the key!

Chocolates not at all bad for you. Look for the bar with the least fat and sugar and don’t eat too much and it will not be bad at all

…but I thought that chocolate was good for you:-) For example dark chocolate (more cocoa than sugar) has antioxidants in it that might prevent aging and trace elements such as magnesium. Well that’s my excuse for eating it anyway
