• Question: why do you find living thins fascinating

      There are so many kinds of organisms who live in so many different ways: bacteria in a boiling underwater volcano, a hive of bees, Antarctic lichens that get their water from snow, people! And yet they all make themselves in pretty much the same way by passing on DNA and using it to make proteins, and they’re all related if you go back billions of years. I find that so amazing!
