• Question: why do humans have feelings but aniimals dont?

      Most animals do have some sort of “feeling”, mice can feel pain and distress aswell as feeling content and such-like. The differences are A how they percieve those feelings and B how aware they are of what they mean. Their brains aren’t as highly developed as ours and they aren’t aware of themselves or even really of their existence. It’s a characteristic called sentience, that so far it’s believed only humans are capable of, though there is some evidence that chimpanzees can be aware to some level that other chimpanzees have their own thoughts.
