      Be curious, enthusiastic, dedicated and open-minded! Most of all… curious and enthusiastic 🙂

      be really interested in your subject and read a lot!

      I wish I knew! To be a good scientist you have to be persistent, observant, and creative enough to look at old problems in new ways. It also helps if you can write well, because generally that’s how other people find out about your work.

      To be a *great* scientist you probably also have to be lucky, and maybe a little bit arrogant, because then you have the confidence to work on problems other people think are impossible.

      Things I didnt do at all, especially go to work with top scientists when you are beginning. Be flexible, keep up with new ideas and technology. Try to be creative, not following the crowd

      be open minded, dont give up to easily, ask great questions, design great experiments, work hard and ideally communicate you ideas and findings to the general public
