• Question: If you manage to successfully turn genes both on and off are there methods of applying this to disease cure/prevention??

      In short, yes. We can switch genes on and off in the lab since we have techniques for that. The difficulty is in doing that in a living person. There are a lot of technical issues with targeting the right genes in the right cells, but we’re gradually overcoming them.
