Probably have stopped people getting so reliant of fossil fuels because it seems a bit silly now, given how harmful they are to the environment, but that would involve trying to convince people to be less greedy and also WANT to work out another way… finding an alternative hasn’t been too easy, has it… hrm. Toughie.

We got this earlier and I answered that I would like humans to have been more aware that their actions would threaten our existance on earth from the beginning and they would have been conservation minded. Daniel (from Berrylium zone) refined this and said that we should have placed a value on natural resources from the beginning of trade. I really like his idea and will go with that.

For me, or for the world? For me, I’d tell my 16-year-old self who not to go out with. For the world, I’d go back to the beginning of the industrial revolution and try to explain that fossil fuels are going to run out one day, so plan for that and don’t get too dependent on them.

Or I’d make a collecting trip back in time, and collect some extinct animals and bring them back with me to the present to study. Wouldn’t it be great to have a tank of live trilobites?

I wouldn’t change a thing. If you change the past you have no idea how the present would change. Although our world isn’t perfect, its at least good. Is it worth risking this present to try and improve it? We may get stuck with a worse present and no time machine, kindof like a lot of the bad movies!

I would stop tobacco being used for smoking and get research started to replace fossil fuels much earlier
