Question: how did you discover this project

towards the end of my PhD I started looking at different academic jobs websites and saw that my (now) boss was advertising for somebody to research this topic. Its completely different from what I was doing before, but I knew that it suited my experience and qualifications and I knew that I would learn many more laboratory techniques and more about plants through doing this research.
