      Well there are hovercraft, and we can use magnetics to make vehicles hover over a track, so in that sense yeah, but I don’t think we’ll have flying cars like what they have in the Jetsons or Futurama! Not in my lifetime anyway.

      We already have hovercrafts, the only reason I think that this hasn’t made it into cars is that its hard to control and uses a lot of extra fuel. Given that fuel is getting more expensive I can’t see hover cars being invented soon, to be worthwhile they would have to have a significant advantage over conventional cars. Why don’t you invent it?
