• Question: Do you make sure you don't go against your religion while experimenting?

      Well I’m a Catholic, but I thought they were wrong over stem cells. Really, they are just another kind of human cell and we use a lot of those. Its perfectly obvious when you look at them that they are cells not people

      I don’t have a religion, but i certainly make sure everything i do in life conforms to my ethics.

      I don’t follow a religion but I hope I would never do anything that my conscience told me was wrong. Luckily I have only ever worked on yeast and other fungi so I haven’t really come across any ethical dilemmas in my work.

      I don’t actually have a religion, but I know of plenty of religious people who are scientists, and I guess it’s a personal thing on what you will or won’t do in an experiment depending on your religion, so maybe if your relgion condemns stem cell research you may choose not to do that. Like I said no, I am not religious, so I base my decisions on my own thoughts of what I believe to be right and wrong.

      yes. I think its important to do things according to your beliefs and principles. No matter what career.
