• Question: Do you know what disease commonly affects cacti (it grows a kind of white fluffy fungi and dries out the entire plant) and what I could do to prevent my cacti from getting this?

Im afraid i don’t know, but the fungus that i work on (Botrytis) can affect the cactus. Its generally a good idea to cut off infected sections, if they are not too large, and to cut extra off as the fungus will have spread further than you can see. I don’t know much about cactus diseases but you may want to look here http://www.succulent-plant.com/pests.html#fungal
