• Question: cool how long do you spend in education to get the qualifications ???

      I did a genetics degree in Scotland that was 4 years (Scottish degrees are usually that long, in England it would have taken 3) and then another 3 years for my PhD.

      The PhD is very different though, it’s more like an apprenticeship than a course! You don’t pass it by exams, but by whether you have found out something interesting and written about it properly.
