Question: Would you say your Maths degree has helped you with your Scientific research?

Very. Its been very helpful to understand maths and statistics, biology is collecting more and more data and unless you can understand data and how to ask it questions then you have to rely on someone who does.

I wouldn’t say its necessary, but its incredibly helpful. My only biological result so far was found from a mathematical pattern I saw in data, which I tested in the lab and found to be true.
