• Question: Would you say that what you learn in science at school is anything like the science in your job?

      I always hated the science praticals at school. I wanted to be left alone to do my own thing

      No, it’s very different. The biggest difference is that as a scientist you are finding out *new* things that *you* want to know about, rather than learning whatever someone else decided you ought to learn.
