• Question: what do you think is the worst thing that ever happend to humanity?

      The industrial revolution, so that was when there was a sharp increase in the use of machines to produce things and the invention of the railways, in of itself was great in terms of showing human endeavour with engineering and our ability to invent things. However, the speed that it happened with and the fact that there was very little forward thinking from politicians and so forth lead to large, crowded cities which in turn lead to numerous health and social problems, massive problems for natural habitats and the environment in general, and in a way maybe made us a little bit lazy and reliant on fossil fuels as well.

      Though that is a tough one because obviously all that technology and progress with science and sorts that came with it… but yeah we could have thought about the consequences of what we were doing, how it was going to affect future generations.
