      I got my PhD in 2002. Getting one wasn’t a goal in itself, but you usually need one to get further ahead in science.

      …ok, I’ll admit it – I did enjoy it the first time someone asked me “and is that Mrs or Miss?” afterwards.

      Definitely, it would make me Dr. Steven Kiddle ! Its required for jobs in science and the work to get it is fun and challenging.

      Course, I wouldn’t of spent the last three years of my life working towards getting a PhD if I didn’t want it 🙂

      Plus… y’know… I’d be Dr. Livingstone I presume….

      yes, I recently passed my PhD. I really enjoyed the project and my supervisor. It was a good experience
