Louise Johnson answered on 12 Jun 2010:
I got my PhD in 2002. Getting one wasn’t a goal in itself, but you usually need one to get further ahead in science.
…ok, I’ll admit it – I did enjoy it the first time someone asked me “and is that Mrs or Miss?” afterwards.
Steven Kiddle answered on 14 Jun 2010:
Definitely, it would make me Dr. Steven Kiddle ! Its required for jobs in science and the work to get it is fun and challenging.
Michaela Livingstone answered on 14 Jun 2010:
Course, I wouldn’t of spent the last three years of my life working towards getting a PhD if I didn’t want it 🙂
Plus… y’know… I’d be Dr. Livingstone I presume….
