ALL THE TIME! Most of the time it turns out that I’ve done something wrong lol, but yeah a lot of the time I do something assuming that one thing will happen, and then something really weird happens. One of the proteins I work on is only found in human testes, apart from it’s abnormally switched on in about a third of all cancers (of any tissues, not just the balls!) But I thought that was pretty funny. The other funny thing about it, is that it’s only found in Humans! What’s so special about Human sperm that they need this protein?? Wish I could answer that!!

Funny ha ha? Not really. Funny peculiar? Yes, sometimes! Funny-peculiar results are usually a sign that everything is far more complicated and interesting than you thought.

once we made a mistake on a computer program and made the model plant grow upside down, but can’t think of any other funny results. Had plenty of ‘funny/wierd’ results that i didn’t expect!

Sian: that’s a bit weird! I also thought that they gave you adrenaline shots to the heart to kick start it, or make it beat faster? Is dependent oh the exact levels of adrenaline, like some depresses and the somehow more speeds it up?

Its the extra large amount after big shocks that shuts it down, but its only temporary

Sian: cool! Do you ever see the same effect in mice, where birth isn’t as dangerous?
